Large Group Meeting

Join us for a time of worship, testimonies and teaching on recovery topics

Time: Thursday 7:00 pm-8:00pm
Place: CLC Quad C

Small Group Meetings

At the conclusion of our Large Group Meeting, we will break up into gender specific groups for more in-depth discussions. These meetings are from 8:00-9:00 pm and will meet in various rooms of the CLC.

Newcomers' Meeting

We encourage all first-timers to attend one session of our Newcomers' Group. You will receive a brief introduction to CR through a short video, discussion of our meeting format and some personal testimonies. There is no obligation to share. Just join us and find out about CR, ask questions and determine if it is a good fit for you.

Men's and Women's Open Groups

After attending one of the Newcomers' Group meetings, the gender specific issue groups will provide more in-depth sharing of similar struggles. Specific issues at present are:

  • Womens Open
  • Men's Chemical
  • Men's Behavior
  • Men's Sexual Addictions

We are looking for new groups to add as the Lord raises up leaders for additional specific issues.

Teachings from the Large Group Meeting or devotional readings will be used to initiate sharing. Participants are encouraged to comment, read or just listen. You are 100% in control of your participation.

Step Study Groups - at other times during the week

For those who wish to dig deeper into themselves and their issues, gender specific Step Study Groups will be formed. In these groups, size will be limited to 7-10 participants and the CR participant's guides will be used to stimulate thoughts and discussions. Step Study meetings are typically 1 1/2 to 2 hours. If a new group is formed, the group picks the meeting day and time.

Weekly attendance and participation are expected. These weekly meetings will work the 12 Steps of Recovery over about one year.

At the completion of the Step Study, participants are encouraged to participate in the Open Groups or assume leadership of another 12 Step Study Group. Sign –up for these groups will be offered in the Open Groups. See our resources section for descriptions of the step study booklets.
